Privacy Policy

Luminary AI Technologies Inc. (“Luminary,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Luminary Technology Network and its connected applications, platforms, websites, and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information when you use the Services.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Account and access information, including your name, email address, organization, role, membership information, access key, permissions, and authentication records.
• User content, including prompts, messages, searches, documents, files, workspace information, communications, feedback, and other information you choose to submit.
• AI interaction data, including prompts, instructions, contextual information, generated responses, and feedback associated with AI-assisted features.
• Technical and usage information, including IP address, device type, browser, operating system, identifiers, timestamps, pages and features used, diagnostic information, error reports, and security logs.
• Support and communication information when you contact Luminary, request assistance, participate in research, or communicate through the Services.
• Subscription and transaction information, including plan, entitlement, purchase status, and transaction records. Payment-card information may be processed by third-party payment providers and is not necessarily stored by Luminary.
• Information from integrations or third-party services that you choose to connect, subject to your authorization and the permissions you grant.

Some connected Luminary platforms may involve financial, health, legal, educational, professional, or other potentially sensitive information. Users should provide only the information necessary to use the relevant feature. Where required, Luminary will provide additional notice or request consent before collecting or processing sensitive personal information.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
• Authenticate users and administer access keys, memberships, permissions, and organizational access.
• Process user requests and provide AI-assisted features, research, analysis, organization, communication, and generated content.
• Personalize the Services and maintain continuity across authorized Luminary platforms.
• Provide customer support and communicate about accounts, security, service changes, and requested information.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
• Monitor performance, diagnose technical problems, conduct internal research, and develop new or improved features.
• Process subscriptions and maintain transaction, accounting, and entitlement records.
• Comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and security of Luminary, our users, and others.

Generative AI

Certain Services use generative artificial intelligence to create, summarize, organize, analyze, or transform content. Information submitted to these features may be processed by Luminary and by technology providers working on our behalf to generate responses and operate the Services.

AI-generated content may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be independently reviewed. It is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information:

• To service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, data storage, communications, analytics, security, payment processing, customer support, and artificial-intelligence functionality.
• To an organization associated with your account when that organization provides, administers, or pays for your access. Authorized organizational administrators may manage access and view information associated with organizational use, subject to applicable agreements and law.
• To third-party services or recipients when you request an integration, export, publication, communication, or other disclosure.
• When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory requirements, or valid governmental requests.
• To protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Luminary, our users, or others, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security threats.
• As part of a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all of Luminary’s business or assets, subject to appropriate protections.

Luminary does not sell personal information and does not operate the Services as an advertising platform based on the sale of member data.

Data storage, retention, and security

Luminary retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the relevant Service, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. Information transmitted between users and the Services is protected using modern encrypted connections where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security.

User choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may also manage certain account information, communication preferences, integrations, and permissions through the Services. Disconnecting an integration does not necessarily delete information previously imported or processed.

To make a privacy request, contact ben@luminary-tech.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, contractual obligations, or legitimate recordkeeping.

Organization-managed accounts

If you receive access through an employer, university, government agency, or another organization, that organization may administer your access and may have rights concerning information associated with its account. The organization’s agreement with Luminary and its own privacy practices may also apply.

Children

The general Luminary Technology Network is not directed to children under 13. Any educational service specifically intended for younger users must be operated under appropriate organizational agreements, notices, permissions, and parental or institutional consent where required.

International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Luminary or its service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers of personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services evolve or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
